Grounded passengers forced to pay £24,000 airline fees

Post by Martyn20 on Fri Nov 18, 2011 2:13 am

A plane carrying 170 people to Birmingham was grounded at Vienna airport for six hours until the passengers raised £24,000 in unpaid fees.
The plane aircraft, operated by the charter airline Comtel, was held on the tarmac while those on board were taken to cash machines to find the money needed.

Telegraph Story

Unbelievable, they marched passengers to cash machines to pay off the bills of the Airline so they would release the plane, amazing.
